Australian software company Integrated Research (IR) has unveiled Prognosis Elevate, an observability-as-a-service (OaaS) platform designed to help enterprises monitor complex communication systems as they struggle with hybrid and multi-cloud environments. The offering marks a strategic pivot for the company from a traditional software sales model to a subscription service.
Wrestling the web: The service targets the more than 90% of enterprises now running messy hybrid or multi-cloud setups. Prognosis Elevate provides a "single pane of glass" on a dedicated AWS cloud for each client, automating infrastructure management and updates to simplify operations.
From monitoring to intelligence: CEO and Managing Director Ian Lowe frames the move as a response to how observability has matured from simple monitoring into "system performance intelligence." He says the platform meets a growing demand for solutions that can consolidate deep, multi-vendor data into one view.
With Prognosis Elevate, IR is betting that enterprises are ready to pay for a managed service rather than wrestle with complex monitoring tools themselves. The company also made its future ambitions clear, confirming that payments observability is next on the platform's roadmap. While the new platform focuses on unified communications, IR also has a deep footprint in managing other business-critical systems, including HPE-NonStop environments. The company's tools are already used by major brands like Woolworths Group and VodafoneZiggo.
